This might sound like some kind of kung fu move or something you heard in an action movie. This is one of the most common grip styles that most computer users use and many gamers still prefer it.

For the palm grip, rest your entire hand on the top and sides of the mouse, with both fingers on the buttons and thumb on the side. In this position, your arm does most of the heavy work, making it perfect for large gliding movements rather than precise movements. A mouse with a medium shell/size is recommended to ensure your palm is properly resting on it.
